Final Count In Progress: OneBC’s Ballot Benchmark Moves to 26,903 Votes
November 6, 2026 · iVoteOneBC research desk
Elections BC’s final count is now in progress. That makes today’s update a live accountability checkpoint: record the public numbers, keep the frame honest, and wait for completion before calling anything final.
What the party summary shows now
Elections BC’s party summary lists 26,903 OneBC votes province-wide, equal to 1.50% of the vote, with 0 electoral districts leading. The prior iVoteOneBC initial-count refresh recorded 27,056 votes and 1.51%, so the honest update is that the live benchmark has moved slightly during final count.
That is not a setback to hide and not a victory to inflate. It is exactly what a serious movement tracker should do: keep the ledger current while the official count proceeds.
Vancouver–Quilchena receipt
In Vancouver–Quilchena, the candidate report still lists Dallas Brodie at 805 votes and 4.04%. Conservative candidate Carson Binda is listed at 10,958 votes and 54.95%.
The positive supporter frame remains disciplined: Brodie put OneBC’s property-rights, lower-tax, public-safety, and DRIPA-accountability lane on the ballot in a difficult riding. The count is hard, but it gives supporters a real benchmark instead of a slogan.
Where OneBC showed measurable ballot traction
The candidate report still shows 33 OneBC candidate rows. The strongest visible OneBC percentage in this check is Alexandra Wright in Kelowna–Lake Country–Coldstream, listed at 2,541 votes and 11.37%. Other visible OneBC benchmarks include Deborah Friesen in Kamloops–North Thompson at 1,670, Keith Pomeroy in Boundary–Similkameen at 1,499, and Chantel Gibbs in Vernon–Lumby at 1,121.
Those are organizing clues, not excuses for overclaiming. They show where a new party’s message found real ballot contact and where the next round of listening, candidate development, and local work has to begin.
